Patrick Eugene Rhodes of Buena Vista, born April 26, 1954, went home on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, with his family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He leaves behind his loving bride of 48 years, Sharon Smith Rhodes; his “sweet pea,” Stephanie Rhodes Tyree and husband Jeff; his “booger bear,” Christopher Leon Rhodes; and perhaps his most precious family are his grandson, Dylan Patrick Tyree, and granddaughter, Britney Nicole Tyree; and his fourlegged companion, Aaron.
In lieu of flowers, please send monetary donations to Rockbridge Area Hospice. The family would love to personally thank everyone from hospice for their tireless, loving, and relentless support over the last five years. A memorial service was conducted Monday, Oct. 30, at Marlbrook Baptist Church in Raphine by Pastor John Tilley.
