Teresa Jane Fitzgerald, 55, of Lexington, passed away Oct. 25, 2023, in her home surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Aug. 18, 1968, in Lexington, the daughter of Jay Hugh Madison and Judy Jeanette Madison. She was the youngest of three siblings.
On March 13, 1996, she married Vernon Thomas Fitzgerald, who survives.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Corbon David Smith, and a special friend, Stacy Marie Hartless.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelli Bryant; son and daughter-in-law, Jayson and Lisa Hartless; daughter and daughter-in-law, Rebecca and Samantha Hartless; grandchildren Colton Smith, Grayson Hartless, Nevaeh Henderson, Karson Blayde, Destiny Bryant, Colton Johnson and Madison Hartless; sister, Kathy Madison (Daniel); and sister, Janet Madison (Ray); special friends Jeffrey Hartless and Jenny “Duckie” Hartless-Higgins; two very special children, Destiny and Steven Hartless; and fur babies Cooper and Khloe.
The family of Teresa wishes to extend our sincere thanks to ConnectionPlus Healthcare + Hospice; and a special nurse, Chrystal Knick, for the excellent care she received in her final days.
