Friday, Nov. 3 – The Rockbridge County High School football team concluded its season winless, suffering a 42-6 road loss to Valley District rival William Monroe on Friday night in Stanardsville.
Junior running back Gabriel Wade made a 2-yard run in the first half for the Wildcats’ lone touchdown, but the Dragons (5-5 overall, 3-3 district) contained the Wildcats (0-10, 0-6) for the rest of the game.
The Wildcats will miss their nine seniors: Caiden Cavazos, Caden Culp, Simone Emore, Daniel Grimm, John Lindberg, Ryan Maxwell, Ben Pitsenbarger, Josiah Saunders and Stephen Wells.
