Robert Hall "Bob" Humphreys of Raphine died Nov. 13

Robert Hall “Bob” Humphries of Raphine went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023. Bob was born April 25, 1947.

Robert was a graduate of Riverheads High School and Bridgewater College. He built three successful businesses during his life with the help of his dear wife Evelyn. Bob was a member of Vesuvius Baptist Church.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Evelyn Jackson Humphries; children, John-Paul Humphries (Carly), Jenna Brooks (Dustin), and Luke Humphries (fiancé Leah); grandson, friend and companion Eli Acord; precious granddaughter, Atlee Shea Humphries; two near to his heart grandsons, John-Paul Humphries Jr. and Noah Brooks; brother-in-law, Cecil Jackson (Tracie); along with five nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Katherine Humphries, and his sister Betsy H. Painter.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Brooks officiating. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Harrison Funeral Home.
