Spend A Day On The Trail

One of the area’s more anticipated holiday events, the North Rockbridge Trail, returns on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The Trail connects over 20 small businesses in the northern part of the county that the public can explore, shop, eat, drink and enjoy the scenic views.

This year’s Trail stops will offer antiques, fabrics and quilts, food, vineyards, a brewery, an operating grist mill, Alpaca wool products, bee products, and farm stores.

The following businesses will be on the Trail this year: 3 Seasons Antiques, Bels Bees, Tantivy Lavender Farm, The Workshop at Timber Ridge, McCormick Farm, Mountain View Florist, Mountain View Farm Products, The Quiltery, RedWing Orchard, Ridge Valley Alpacas, Verdant Acres Farm, Wade’s Mill, Ecco Adesso Vineyards, Jump Mountain Vineyard, Rockbridge Vineyard & Brewery, Heritage Woodwork, Dottie’s County Store, Frank’s Pizza Fairfield, High Five Farms and Alpacas of Maple Grove.

Look for the map of all the Trail locations appearing in the Dec. 6 issue of The News-Gazette and on the group’s Facebook page (@northrockbridgetrail) and Instagram (@northrockbrigetrail.)
