Brownsburg Events Include Dedication

The Brownsburg Community Association will remember one of its founders at its Christmas celebration on Saturday, Dec. 9, starting at 4 p.m.

The Dick Barnes Memorial Bench at the Brownsburg Museum will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Barnes, who died in May, led the formation and founding of the Brownsburg Community Association in 1998, and then, in 2008, the formation of the Brownsburg Museum.

After the dedication, children (and adults) can chat with Santa, enjoy cookies and hot beverages, craftmaking and tree decorating. The community tree will be lit and caroling in town will start at 5 p.m.
