Our condolences and prayers are extended to the Clark, Walker and Robinson families, remembering Buford Clark, Boyd Walker and Mary Robinson.

Sending birthday wishes to three friends of mine ‒ Lauren Collingwood, John Henderson and Peter Del Vecchio, as well as to Faith Baptist Church member Jennabeth Thacker.

At Faith Baptist Church this past Sunday, Brother Mickey Kirkland was the guest speaker. Faith Baptist will be having its Christmas Tree Sermon on Dec. 3. Ladies Fellowship Time will be on Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. and a Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be on Dec. 6 at 8 a.m. The church will also be having a Christmas dinner on Dec. 10. The choir’s Christmas cantata will be on Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. and the youth Christmas play will be that night at 6 p.m.

Many thanks to Lynn Williams and the Rev. Dr. Bob Copenhaver for leading a morning prayer service with Holy Eucharist this past Sunday at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Thanks also to Bert Buford and Josh Gardner for providing music for the service, to Bruce Skillicorn for serving as reader, and to Sallie and Tim Thieleke for hosting coffee hour.
