Nov. 27, 2023 Editor, The News-Gazette: Mr. Paxton, a response to your good column “Is the USPS Shooting Itself In The Foot?”: If our beloved USPS had been allowed to be a part of the email revolution, all those figures Mr. Paxton gave would be so different today.
The USPS was founded to facilitate our communicating with each other. To restrict it from any means of communication, like email, has obviously imperiled its existence. If that intention was to ruin the USPS, those figures show us its success. Mr. Paxton, I am sad to say, the USPS lost a foot or two some time ago to take aim at. MADISON BROWN Lexington
