The weather was great for a Christmas parade this past Saturday in Glasgow, and what a parade it was, one of the better ones I’ve ever witnessed.

This Saturday, you’ll want to come shopping at the Christmas bazaar at the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship church beginning at 8 a.m., and enjoy breakfast with Santa, beginning at 9 a.m.

There will be another free catered Community Meal on Dec. 13 at the Thompson Community Center on Catawba Street in Glasgow. The meal will be open to the public between 6 and 7 p.m. Donations are welcome.

We extend sympathy to the family of Buford Clark, who passed away last week.

The next Town Council meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Glasgow Library.
