Did anyone else see the meteor fly over on Sunday evening? The celestial visitor lit up the pale blue evening sky around 5:20 on Dec. 3. My grandmother was outside on our back porch at the time and said it looked like a big orange light streaking fast across the sky to the south, leaving a smoky white trail behind, which remained until the dusk faded.

Faith Baptist will be having Men’s Prayer Breakfast this morning, Dec. 6, at 8. The church will also be having a Christmas dinner on Dec. 10. The choir’s Christmas Cantata will be on Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. and the Youth Christmas Play will be that night at 6 p.m.
