Charles Franklin Rowsey, 78, of Lexington died Dec. 8

Charles Franklin Rowsey, 78, of Lexington, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2023.

He was born Jan. 4, 1945, in Lexington, the son of the late Charles Franklin Rowsey Sr. and Pearlie Smith Rowsey.  

He is survived by a sister, Bonnie Rowsey Wilson; a brother, David Rowsey; special cousins, Curt Rowsey, Lois Rowsey and Bruce Smith, and many other special cousins as well.

Charles will be remembered for his musical talent that began at an early age and the gospel music which he loved so dearly.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home. 

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the funeral home.
