The Buena Vista Baptist Church will once again present a concert of gospel and contemporary Christmas music this Sunday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m.
The Christmas concert, “Come & See What’s Happenin’ in the Barn,” will feature singers, songwriters and musicians from Buena Vista, Lexington and Rockbridge County and promises the audience beautiful music of Jesus’ birth in well-known Christmas hymns to original compositions, said a spokeswoman.
Artists will include Bruce Allen, Jason Burke, Tim Wallace, Kevin Wallace, Justin Peery, Stephen Peery, Danika Covington, Chuck Rice, Susan Tedrow and Ladies of Mercy, Margie Moran, Karen Robinson and Marylin Farris.
The congregation will be invited to participate in several sing-a-longs, and following the concert everyone is invited down to the fellowship hall for refreshments. The church is located at 2174 Chestnut Ave.
