RC Names New Boys Soccer And Tennis Coaches

Wednesday, Dec. 13 -- Rockbridge County High School has named Michael Kelly, a Rockbridge United Soccer Club coach, as its new head boys soccer coach. Rockbridge County Public Schools announced the hire at the Rockbridge County School Board meeting on Tuesday night.

Kelly replaces Scott Youngdahl, who coached the Wildcats for the last six years, leading them to a 2-12-1 record last spring. Youngdahl will be the new RC boys tennis coach, replacing Rebekah Butler, who coached the Wildcats for the last two years, leading them to a 3-11 record last spring.
