Buena Vista Christmas Parade Winners Announced

Columbia Gas won the judge’s choice award for its entry in the Buena Vista Christmas parade Dec. 7.

Other winners were as follows: Education – Enderly Heights Elementary, Mountain View Elementaryhand Mountain Gateway Community College; Band – Parry McCluer Middle School; Golf cart – Slim & Shorty; Horse and rider – Kathy Ramsey; Firetruck – Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department; Rescue – Buena Vista Rescue Squad and Glasgow Lifesaving and First Aid; Business – Everbrite, Dominion Energy; Religious – Faith Mountain Baptist Church; Best appearing car – Ed Coffey and Bob Bolling; Best appearing truck – Billy Staton; Best appearing jeep – Melissa Plogger and Sarah Reynolds; Special youth group – RARO; Parade theme – Modine; Other – Monacan Indian, Paul Eppert.
