Welcome to our annual children’s New Year’s resolutions project.
This year, we would like to thank the principal, teachers and students at Central Elementary for participating.
As you will see, the fourthand fifth-graders put a lot of thought into their hopes for the new year. Some of their resolutions are similar to ones children throughout the years have had, from making good grades and more friends to getting better in sports. But, as we saw with the holiday writings from last week, you will also see a lot of concern these days for other people, animals and their family.
And then there’s this thing about biting fingernails … Enjoy, and have a happy and healthy 2024.
- Darryl Woodson
