As another year comes to a close, let’s all take a timeout to reflect on what we have in our lives to be thankful for and offer a moment of silence and prayer for our friends, family, and beloved community members who passed from this life this year, remembering the following families: Chittum, Braford, Wykoff, Stalnaker, Cash, Ferguson, Ross, Foster, Williams, Reynolds, Markland, Hill, Tomlin, Henderson, Bennington, Jarvis, Hostetter, Lilly, Brown, Gardner, Ramsey, Bradley, Smith, Hopkins, Bailey, Mason, Greaver, Ballard, Shafer, Gibson, Clark, Robinson, Walker, Johnston, Powell, Lavender, Branche, Eversmann, and Breeden. May we all find peace, hope, and love in 2024.

Sending birthday wishes to Larry Ross in Charlotte, N.C., from his Valley family and friends, as well as to Tiffani King, Lucy Vasquez, Debbie Carroll, Irene Watkins and Donna Thomas and to Faith Baptist members Matthew Tanner, Wanda Dreyer, Rose Breeden, and Lewis Austin. Faith Baptist will be having a Men’s Prayer Breakfast this morning, Jan. 3, at 8 and a Ladies Circle meeting on Jan. 9 at 6 p.m.

Many thanks to Brandall Branch for leading a morning prayer service this past Sunday at St. John’s Episcopal Church and to Bert Buford and Josh Gardner for providing music and to Jason Hickman for hosting coffee hour. Many, many thanks to everyone who helped with the Community Christmas Eve service! The event was amazing!
