Judy Arlene Camden Breeden was born Aug. 22, 1948, in Lexington. She passed away on Dec. 29, 2023, due to a sudden decline in her health at only 75 years of age.

She is survived by her brother, Mike Camden (wife Melanie), and her sister, Patricia Dudley. She is also survived by her four children, James “Dinky” Brads, Robert Brads (Patsy), Melinda Mains and Wesley Whanger; her four grandchildren, Shane Staton, Christina Staton, Elijah Hamilton and Elizabella Watkins; and her two greatgrandchildren, Jemma Austin, Maddox Staton, and one more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Camden and Emma Jean Camden.

Judy was a very caring and one of a kind person. Above all she enjoyed time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Judy worked at Burlington (Mohawk Industries) for over 20 years before retirement. After that she spent her life helping others in need and dedicated to her family. She was caring, loving, stubborn and always open about her opinions and views. Her recent hobbies were enjoying her coffee and her shows. We were absolutely blessed to have her for as long as we did, and we will forever cherish our memories with her. I know she is now having the most beautiful reunion with her parents, which she wanted for a long time. She will be very sorely missed by her family and friends today, tomorrow and always.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Randy Clark. Family will receive friends after the memorial service at the Ruritan Club, 1260 Valley Pike Road, Lexington, VA 24450.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory. N-G
