Thursday, Jan. 4 – Due to the forecast of snow and sleet for the area, the high school girls and boys basketball games between Rockbridge County and Parry McCluer that were scheduled to take place at PM this Saturday have been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 13. The day will start with the junior varsity girls’ game at 1 p.m., followed by the JV boys’ game at 2:30 p.m., the varsity girls’ game at 4 p.m. and the varsity boys’ game at 5:30 p.m.
Both RC and PM will be in action on Friday, with the RC boys playing host to Valley District rival Spotswood and the girls playing at Spotswood. For the boys, JV action will start at 6 p.m., while the girls will start with the JV game at 5:30 p.m. The Fighting Blues will play host to Pioneer District rival Highland County for a varsity doubleheader, starting with the girls’ game at 5:30 p.m., with the boys’ game scheduled for 7 p.m.
