Leading the worship service and the observance of the sacrament of communion at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Jan. 7, was the Rev. Malcolm Brownlee. The Rev. Brownlee also served as moderator of the congregational meeting following the worship service. Elected as elders in the class of 2026 were Billy Cummings, Austin Ramsey and Frances Ruley. The class of 2026 will be installed on Sunday, Jan. 14, during the morning worship service.

The C&F Circle of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church will meet Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The group will continue its study of Scared Encounters from the book of Luke. For more information call Mary Jarvis at (540) 463-4639. All women are invited to join the group.

The Collierstown Presbyterian Women will hold their winter meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the church’s Fellowship Hall. The annual church dinner will be discussed as well as plans for mission projects.
