Buena Vista Masonic Leaders

Buena Vista Masonic Lodge held its 152nd annual installation of officers on Jan. 6 in the Buena Vista lodge room. The new officers include (front row, from left) John Mulligan, senior warden; Tim Thorman, Worshipful Master; Steven McNeil, junior warden;(back row) Steven Webb, treasurer; Justin Wiseman, secretary; Craig Lawhorne, chaplain; Robert Agnor, installing officer; and Charles Thorman, senior steward. Masonry is a centuries-old worldwide fraternity of men who cherish ideals of morality, friendship, virtue, and brotherly love, according to a spokesman. They are involved in many local programs and offer scholarships to students from the area. The lodges in Buena Vista, Lexington and Glasgow welcome any inquiries from men who are willing to invest one night a month to pursue these goals. Those interested in Masonry can email Thorman at [email protected]. Also, Lexington’s Mountain City Lodge has a website at mountaincitymasoniclodge.org, and those interested can also access the state website at grandlodgeofvirginia.org.
