To all snow lovers, after several forecasts of snow that we didn’t see, we woke up on Monday morning to a dusting of the white stuff, with a promise of more later in the day.
Word was received this week of the death of another Glasgow Baptist Church member, Gerda Smith. Although she hasn’t been able to attend for some time due to her declining health, she loved her church family as well as her biological family. We extend love and sympathy to her family and friends.
A former Glasgow man, Daniel Henry, who has lived in California for a number of years, has moved back to Virginia and is living in Roanoke, much to the delight of his mother, Doris Henry. She reported that he has since met and held his new grandchild for the first time. Welcome home, Daniel.
