The Collierstown Presbyterian Women have begun their annual Blanket Sunday campaign. Each year they partner with Church World Service to purchase and distribute blankets to needy individuals and families in the United States and around the world. The community is invited to join in this project by making a monetary donation or by gifting a friend with a contribution to Church World Service’s Blanket program in their name. The cost of a blanket is $10. Donations should be designated for Blanket Sunday and mailed to the Collierstown Presbyterian Church, 31 Church Drive, Lexington, VA 24450 or dropped off at the church by Blanket Sunday, Jan. 28.

The Collierstown Presbyterian Women will hold their winter meeting tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall. The annual church dinner will be reviewed and plans for 2024 mission projects will be discussed. All women of the church are invited to attend.

Information on upcoming events, visitors to the area, and other community happenings should be sent to 29 Desmac Lane, Lexington, VA, emailed to [email protected] or call (540) 463-7652 for inclusion in the Collierstown News.
