The hours for the February book sale at Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington will be Thursday, Feb. 1, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 2, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The February sale will feature a large selection of children’s books, a good collection of history and other nonfiction adult books as well as the usual fiction books, paperbacks, and many free magazines.
Prices for the sale are children’s books, 50 cents, audio books, $1, with other prices ranging from 50 cents for paperback books to $2 for hardback books. The $2 bag sale will be all day on Saturday - fill a paper bag for $2.
Staff and volunteers work together to make the monthly book sale a success. Volunteers, who work in shifts, are needed for the days of the book sale, especially on Saturday. To apply for a volunteer position to help with the book sale, ask to fill out a volunteer form at the service desk or request one online by emailing the librarian from https://www.rrlib.net.
