We had a lovely morning of gathered worship at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church on Sunday. Thank you to Laura Hotinger (piano) and Calvin Clark (horn) for opening the time of worship with a prelude of “Holy, Holy, Holy.” Thank you to Leila Hackett for leading our call to worship. Thank you to the praise team for leading the song, “He has made me glad.”
The children’s choir will resume practice on Feb. 4 after church. Any children (and adults) are welcome to join. A confirmation class for eighth through 12th grades will begin on Feb. 4 as well. Please let Pastor Casey or Pastor Rachel know if you are interested in participating.
A Bible study on the Sermon on the Mount will be held on Mondays at 4:30 at the Clarks, beginning Monday, Feb. 5. Email [email protected] for more information.
The Women’s Circle will meet Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Clarks.
“Souperbowl Sunday” will be Sunday, Feb. 11. Canned goods and donations will be accepted to support RARA food pantry.
Music Sunday will be held on Feb. 25 with a fellowship luncheon afterwards. Let the Clarks know if you would like to participate in special music. Bring a dish and enjoy the fellowship!
