Shots Fired In Buena Vista Neighborhood

The Buena Vista Police Department is investigating reports of shots being fired over the weekend on Pine Avenue near the intersection with 12th Street.

Members of the police department responded to reports of people shooting on Pine Avenue Saturday night and found evidence of a gun being fired in the street.

BVPD Chief Wayne Handley told The News-Gazette on Monday that no injuries or property damage were reported in connection with the incident.

He also said that there was a second report on Sunday night, but that no evidence had been found at this point to indicate a connection between the incidents.
