Also, this past Sunday, the Presbyterian Women hosted their annual meeting with a soup and salad luncheon at which they installed new officers. New search chair was Leigh Ann McCoy, replacing Audrey Armentrout, whom we thank for her years of service. Gayle Tolley graciously accepted another three-year term as historian. They were installed by Carol Tolley and Pam Lotts. The women’s mission project for this quarter is “Women’s Health, Comfort, Care,” and needs to be submitted by Feb. 18.

High Bridge will celebrate “Souper Bowl” Sunday with a soup and salad luncheon on Feb. 11. During worship, two of our young members will push a wheelbarrow down the church aisle to collect soup and nonperishable food items for the Natural Bridge/Glasgow Food Pantry.

Circle No. 3 meets Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m. with Carol Tolley.

Church members will observe Ash Wednesday on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.

“Noisy can” offering and children’s church will be Feb. 18 under the leadership of Donna Lotts.

The installation of our new pastor, Steve Willis, will be held Sunday, March 3, at 4 p.m. After the installation service, the Presbyterian Women will host a reception.

The Natural Bridge/Glasgow Food Pantry will be open Saturday, Feb. 10, from 9 to 11 a.m.
