NOTICE FOR HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT, Betty S. Trovato, Treasurer of the County of Rockbridge, Virginia from the 1st day of January, 2012, to the 31st day of December, 2023, has filed her petition with this Court requesting that she be released of liability and granted her final discharge as Treasurer as set forth in §58.1-3145 and §58.1 -3146 of the Virginia Code.

City of Lexington Notice of Public Hearing Amendment of Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council on Thursday,February 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting, held in the first-floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia,to solicit input on Ordinance 2024-02 amending theFY 2024 budget from $52,110,243 to $52,198,311.This ordinance proposes appropriating $36,517 to General Government Administration for expenses associated with the 2024 Presidential Primary ($17,622) and server license requirements for the City ($18,895). In addition, the School Board has requested an appropriation of $51,551 from their reserve funds for Future Capital Needs to include locker repairs, painting, and lighting replacements. Copies of the Ordinances may be obtained from the City Manager’s Office in City Hall at 300 E. Washington Street.

THE TOWN OF GLASGOW (Town) is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering firms (Firm) to provide comprehensive engineering services related to lead service line inventory program management. It is anticipated that one firm will be selected to provide services requested using the competitive negotiation procedure for professional services, as outlined in the Virginia Procurement Act. The work will generally include, but shall not be limited to, lead inventory mapping, lead service line replacement plan development, school and daycare sampling, permitting, design, construction administration, funding procurement assistance, etc. Proposals received from interested Firms will be evaluated for their professional qualifications, experience, and competence necessary for the completion of the requested services. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (small or minority and/or women owned firms) are encouraged to submit proposals. ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Notice is hereby given per Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia and Section 808 of the County of Rockbridge Land Development Regulations (the Regulations) that the following public hearings will be held by the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on Monday, February 26, 2024, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in the County Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450 to consider the following applications: 1) Regina D. Donald, 2766 Brownsburg Turnpike, Brownsburg, Virginia 24415 has made an application for a conditional zoning map amendment. The property is owned by Regina D. Donald (address above) and is located on the northeast side of the intersection of Brownsburg Turnpike (Route 252) and Sterrett Road (Route 724). The property is currently in the General Residential (R-1) Zoning District. The application is to rezone the property to the Agricultural and General Uses (A-2) Zoning District, with acceptance of potential proffers. The property is further identified as tax map number 26A-A-12 (2.091 ac. – per tax records). The property is in the Walkers Creek Magisterial District. 2) Chirstopher and Kelly Johannsen, 3952 Brattons Run, Goshen, Virginia, 24439 have made an application for a Special Exception Permit to develop and operate a campground in the Agricultural Transitional (A-T) Zoning District. The properties are owned by Chirstopher and Kelly Johannsen (above address) and are located on the south side of Brattons Run (Route 780), approximately 0.55 miles west of the intersection of Brattons Run (Route 780) and Maury River Road (Route 39). Per Section 603B.03-8 of the Regulations, a Campground is a use by special exception in the A-T Zoning District. The property is further identified as tax map number 121-B (2 ac. – per tax records). The property is in the Walkers Creek Magisterial District.

3) Charles R Flint Sr. and Rebecca L. Flint, 193 Parsons Lane, Natural Bridge, VA 24578 have made an application for a Special Exception Permit to place a manufactured home in the General Business (B-1) Zoning District. The properties are located on the north side of Wert Faulkner Highway (Route 130), approximately 95’ west of the intersection of Glades Lane (Private Road) and Wert Faulkner Highway (Route 130). The properties are owned by Charles R Flint Sr. and Rebecca L. Flint and are further identified as tax map numbers 108A2-1-51-43, 108A2-151-45, and 108A2-1-51-47. The properties were formerly identified as 11 Glades Lane, Glasgow, Virginia 24555. Per section 605.03-13 of the Regulations, manufactured homes are a use by Special Exception in the B-1 Zoning District. The properties are in the Natural Bridge Magisterial District.
