MILDRETTA HUNTER

Mildretta Lynn Hunter, 67, of Glasgow passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond.

Born Aug. 2, 1956, in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Bennett O. Strowbridge and Bessie Early Strowbridge.

Surviving is her son, Brandon Lee Strowbridge (Brittany); grandchildren, Brennen L. and Blake O. Strowbridge; sisters, Vanessa S. Brown (Walker, Jr.) and Dianne Strowbridge (Michael Anderson); nieces, Tamika, Angela, Vonte, Avoni, Shaela, DeAijah, Dominae and Deja; and nephews, Marcus (BJ), Daijon, Eric, Izaiah, Marcus, Jr., Zy’mir and Ny’zir.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at Union Baptist Church, 733 McCulloch Street, Glasgow, VA.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista.
