Both the girls and boys basketball teams at Parry McCluer High School won their Pioneer District semi-final tournament games in Buena Vista on Wednesday night.
The PM girls (18-3) defeated Eastern Montgomery 48-24 and stayed undefeated against all district opponents (8-0). Payton Emore led the Lady Blues with 19 points and was followed by Victoria Hamilton with 10.
The PM boys (20-4) took down Bath County in a dominant 96-53 showing. It was the highest number of the points the team had scored all season. Evan Cook led PM with a season high 25 points, stemming from seven three point shots.
Both teams will face Narrows at home in the district tournament final before going into regional play. The Lady Blues will tip of 6 p.m. followed by the boys team that will begin play around 7:30 p.m. Admission is $8.
