Leo Bryant, 87, of Buena Vista died Feb. 17

 

Charles Leo Bryant, 87, of Buena Vista went to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at his home.

Born June 16, 1936, in Iron Gate, he was a son of the late Charles Hubert Bryant and Mildred Lucille Ashe Bryant.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Camper Bryant and brother-in-law Wayne Taylor.

Leo was a deacon and long-time member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church. He retired from Clark's Exterminating Company and was in the Marine Corps Reserve for 12 years.

In addition to his mother, also surviving are his children, Christopher L. Bryant (Gail), and Rhonda B. Wilmore (Todd); siblings, Peggy Taylor, Evelyn Walton (Franklin), and Jimmy Bryant (Linda); three grandchildren, Michala Grace Bryant, Faith Marie Wilmore, and Grant Alexander Bryant; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Green Hill Cemetery by Pastor Ralph Coleman. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Blue Ridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends after the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Blue Ridge Baptist Church Missions fund.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
