Leading the worship service at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Feb. 18, was Burr Datz. A warm round of applause was received during the opening announcements when the congregation was informed of Datz’s acceptance of an invitation to supply the pulpit for the weekly 11 a.m. worship service for the next three months. He will also assist with visitation and be involved in the church’s prayer ministry.

The Collierstown Presbyterian Church Witness and Congregational Care committee delivered the food donations received during the church’s Souper Bowl of Caring food drive to Helping Hands, a food ministry of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church on Feb. 16. Many thanks to those who made contributions to this important outreach to those with food needs.

The Collierstown Presbyterian Women will hold their winter meeting on Thursday, Feb. 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. This will be a planning meeting for the group’s activities during the remainder of 2024. All women in the congregation are invited to participate.
