Charles “Eddie” Ruley of Lexington (standing, fourth from left) retired on March 1 after 37 years, seven months of employment with the Lexington Public Works Department. He started in July 1986 working on the Right of Way crew and then transferred to the Parks and Cemeteries crew until his retirement.
