Easter Time

It’s Easter week, and local churches and organizations kicked off the week with multiple activities. ABOVE, cadet Julian Major of Virginia Military Institute leads the crowd while playing the bagpipes at the annual Palm Sunday processional in downtown Lexington. AT RIGHT, on Sunday afternoon, the South River Volunteer Fire Department sponsored an egg hunt in Fairfield, one of several taking place last weekend and this coming weekend in the area.
