Melissa Jean Camden of Buena Vista and Linwood Pernell Richardson of Hollister, N.C., were married a in a private Valentine’s Day ceremony Feb. 14 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church in Buena Vista with Pastor Ralph Coleman officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Ryan Hamm. The mother of the bride was matron of honor, and Jason Camden served as best man.
The bride is the daughter of Evelyn Jean Camden of Buena Vista and the late Jesse Camden. The groom is the son of Nettie Lucille Richardson and the late Lindwood Ray Richardson of Hollister, N.C.
The bride’s attire was a formal white lace floor-length gown and she carried a bouquet of pink and white roses with white streamers.
Both the groom and bride are employed by Genworth Financial.
The reception was held by friends of the groom and bride.
Attending the ceremony were the bride’s daughter, Jessica Hamm; her daughter-in-law Melanie Hamm; grandchildren, Camrynn, Kynlee, Paxtyn and Emberly; and sisters of the bride, Marilyn Farris and Tabetha Camden.
After a short honeymoon, the couple will reside in Buena Vista.
