Music At Noon
Lexington Presbyterian Church will offer the second of two Lenten “Music at Noon” organ concerts today, Wednesday, March 27, at noon with a recital by William McCorkle. The concert will feature the church’s C.B. Fisk pipe organ (opus 128, 2007).
The program will offer organ works based on important Reformation hymns for the Holy Week observance of the Passion, notably the ‘Passion Chorale,’ frequently sung to the text “O Sacred Head Now Wounded.” Composers represented on the program, and spanning three centuries, will include Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Gottfried Walther, Felix Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, Jean Langlais, and Flor Peeters.
Grace Episcopal
During Holy Week, Grace Episcopal Church in Lexington welcomes all for prayers and quiet time in the church. Meditative Holy Week music will be offered 4 to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, March 27-29.
Maundy Thursday liturgy is at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28; Good Friday liturgies are at noon and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29; Easter Vigil is at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 30; Easter services are at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Easter Festival
Rockbridge Church will sponsor an Easter Festival on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brewbaker Field.
There will be a bounce house, obstacle course, crafts, games, prizes and 10,000 Easter eggs to hunt.
The hunt times by age are as follows: 0-4 years at 10:15 a.m.; 5-7 years at 11 a.m.; 8-9 years at 11:45 a.m.; and 10-12 years at 12:30 p.m.
Chef Troy and LexVegas Bistro food truck will be cooking up food for purchase.
Victory Baptist
The Victory Baptist Church choir will be presenting its Easter cantata, “My King - Known By His Love,” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
The church is located at 36th Street and Lombardy Avenue in Buena Vista.

Sunrise Service
The Rockbridge Area Minister’s Alliance will present the annual community Easter sunrise service on Sunday at 7 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church.
The Easter message will be delivered by Pastor Andrew James Ditzel of Lexington Presbyterian Church.
A complimentary breakfast will be served after the worship service has concluded.
First Baptist
First Baptist Church in Lexington will hold its Easter service at 11 a.m. with Pastor McKinley Williams preaching.

Haines Chapel
Haines Chapel, at 2682 Tye River Turnpike, will host its old-time church and Easter sunrise service once again, beginning at 6:30 a.m. Pastor Nona Allen will bring the message.
The service will begin in darkness, so those attending should bring a flashlight.

Of The Brethren
Stone Church of the Brethren will conduct its Easter sunrise service at 8:30 a.m. followed by breakfast cooked by the men of the church.
The worship service will begin at 10 a.m.

Oronoco Church will have a carry-in breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. and the Easter worship service at 10 a.m. this Sunday.
Life Chapel
Life Chapel will present its Easter worship service at 10 a.m., followed by an Easter brunch.
Children can enjoy a “Peep Battle” and candy time during the brunch.
