An Easter sunrise service was held at Oxford Presbyterian Church this past Sunday morning. The Rev. Rob Sherrard was the minister and William Hughes played the violin. Afterwards a light breakfast was served in the fellowship hall.

On Sunday, April 7, the Rev. Rob Sherrard will be honored for his almost two years of service as interim pastor. After the worship service, a fellowship lunch will be served so that the congregation can thank him for his service and bid him a fond farewell.

He served the church well with his friendly manner of greeting everyone at the door on Sunday mornings, welcoming them to the services and always having inspiring services. His last day of preaching will be on Sunday, April 14.

Dan Pezzoni will lead a discussion on the possibility if extraterrestrial life at the adult forum at Oxford Church on Sunday, April 7, at 10 a.m.

Canned fruit and vegetables are needed by the Neighborhood Grocery for the month of April. Donations of food items are very much appreciated.
