Rockbridge 4-H’ers joined folks from Boxerwood and the Rockbridge Area Master Gardeners to plant trees in Jordans Point Park last Thursday. The group planted 50 redbud saplings, 50 dogwood saplings, 100 button bush saplings in the riparian buffer along the Maury River, and six red oaks as future shade trees within the park. 4-H’ers (in photo at left) spread mulch around one of the red oak saplings the group planted.
