The Rockbridge Area Health Center’s mobile unit will be set up at the farmers market today, April 17, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Applications are coming in from vendors for the Spring Vendor Event scheduled for Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the farmers market. A list of those vendors can be found on the Facebook site. April 10 was the deadline to apply in order to make a layout of where vendors will be; however, if you haven’t turned in your applications, they will still accept you as a vendor. Someone will be on site by 7 a.m. to greet vendors and direct them to their site. You will need to provide your own canopy with weights. Weights should be 30 pounds per leg.

Mike and Carolyn Bradley participated as vendors on Saturday, April 13, at the Youth Sports Opening Day in Forest. It was a chilly, windy day and weights were definitely needed for those canopies and displays. Some tables and displays were blown over.

There will be a drive-thru rabies clinic at the Glasgow First Aid Building this Saturday, April 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $10 per cat or dog.

The Virginia Bandits Spring Bazaar will be held on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the old NB gym at Natural Bridge Station. Food will be offered for sale outside, the vendors will be set up inside.
