The Rockbridge Shenandoah Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA), in collaboration with Virginia Military Institute, invites the Rockbridge County community to a panel discussion on cybersecurity on Monday, April 22, from 7:45 to 9 p.m. at Brockenbrough Auditorium, 514 Nichols Engineering Hall, VMI.
This event will delve into the cutting-edge innovations emerging in quantum computing and their profound implications for education and workforce development.
The panelists, including Dr. Elizabeth B. Kolmstetter, chief people officer at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA), Department of Homeland Security, and Dr. Gretchen L. Matthews, director of the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative in Southwest Virginia and professor of mathematics at Virginia Tech, will discuss the essential strategies required to uphold America’s cybersecurity leadership across various sectors.
