Blessing Of Animals At Trinity

This Sunday, April 21, at 4 p.m. in front of Trinity United Methodist Church (147 S. Main St., Lexington), all area residents are invited to bring their pets to receive a special blessing.

The animals should be on a leash or in a carrier.

“This is one way that Trinity will be celebrating God’s creation on this Earth Day weekend,” said a church spokeswoman.

Area residents are also welcome to join Trinity for worship that morning at 10, when the service theme will be “Festival of God’s Creation.”
