The Presbyterian Women’s coordinating team at High Bridge Presbyterian Church will meet May 4 after church with Moderator Carol Tolley leading the meeting. The evening circle will meet on May 7 at 6 p.m. with Esther Pennington. Betsy Shepherd will lead the Bible study. The afternoon circle meets May 14 at Carol Tolley’s.

High Bridge will celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, and the annual Presbyterian Women birthday offering will be presented with a reading by member-at-large Chairperson Courtney Thomas. A celebration reception will follow worship.

On Sunday, May 19, High Bridge will honor its middle school, high school and college graduates. Linda Wood, scholarship chairperson, and elder Scott Hannah will present the scholarships and gifts. A reception will follow the worship service.

A spring bazaar takes place at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be available to purchase. Also featured are baked goods, yard sale spaces for $5 each, and items for sale made by Mt. Olivet quilters.

The Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry will be open on Saturday, May 3, from 9 to 11 a.m.
