The Buena Vista Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the homicide of Carl Agnor on April 23, the department said in a statement released last night.
Margaret Mary Wright, 44, of Buena Vista was arrested on May 7 and charged with a single count of second-degree murder. She is currently being held without bond at the Rockbridge Regional Jail.
Police and emergency medical services responded to Agnor’s house on the 1900 block of Hawthorne Avenue at 11:30 p.m. on April 23. Agnor was pronounced dead at the scene. In a statement, the Buena Vista Police Department said that, “there is no indication at this time that there is any danger to the community.”
