I guess the big news this week was the Northern Lights, and I missed it! I heard late in the afternoon that it would happen, then forgot all about it as the day turned to night, until I saw photos posted the next day.

I trust you were able to see this rare light show from where you were.

We extend sympathy and love to Tim and Donna Swartz in the loss of their youngest son in an auto accident last week.

Congrats to all our local graduates, both high school and college. There’s too many to name, for fear of leaving out someone. God bless each and everyone in your future endeavors.

Be sure to check out the Farmers’ Market this weekend. There will be food vendors, bakers, crafters and artists. Got food scraps? Be sure to bring them for the compost bin.

The Concerned Citizens organization will meet this Saturday, May 18, at noon, at the Thompson Center. Members are urged to attend to discuss plans for upcoming events.
