May 20, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: “From the river to the sea and from the North to the South Palestine will be free” is a phrase used by many to justify conflict between the Jewish and Muslim peoples.
It began when Sarah talked Abraham into marrying her hand maiden, Hagar, and have a son. God had said that Sarah would have her own son, but she lacked faith. The result was a son born to Hagar who was named Ishmael. God said that he would make his descendants into a great nation. And that is how the Muslim people and their faith began. Sarah then had Isaac who God said he would make into a great nation. And that is how the Jewish people and their faith began. Ever since then, both nations have been in conflict with each other as God prophesied, which would last until the return of Jesus Christ.
In the meantime, can the Muslim nations and, in particular, the Palestinians be truly free? Most Muslim nations are free, but the people who call themselves Palestinians believe they are not free. They want to pursue freedom through armed conflict with the Jewish nation. But, there is a better way.
The Palestine people should rise up and overthrow their governments and establish a Free Palestine. Obliterate Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations who want the armed conflicts to continue. The funding to fight this overthrow should come from the other Arab nations. Peace in the Middle East! What about God’s prophesy of conflict between the two nations? It will all be political. No one would die from armed conflict.
