The Buena Vista Police Department has issued a warrant for the arrest of Chelsey Renae Conner, 24, of Buena Vista for one count of grand larceny of a motor vehicle.
The vehicle, which belongs to Pamela Hall, was reported stolen to the police on Monday night, and the vehicle has since been recovered. It was unoccupied when it was found.
Buena Vista Police Chief Wayne Handley said police are not looking for any other suspects in connection to the theft. -The Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office made the following felony arrests since April 1: Gregory Allan Mays, 51, of Lexington, for one count of driving under the influence (third or subsequent offense) and one count of possession of a schedule I or II drug on May 18.
Clayton McIntire Nelms, 37, of Raphine, for two felony counts of assault and battery on law enforcement, one misdemeanor count of obstruction of justice, one misdemeanor count of giving a false report to law enforcement and one misdemeanor count of slander and libel on May 16.
Jeffrey Wade McCray, 62, of Buena Vista, on a warrant from Augusta County for one count of passing a bad check on May 14.
Hunter Lee Ruley, 25, of Lexington, for one count of possession of a schedule I or II drug on May 11.
Emily Elizabeth Hamilton, 35, of Lexington, for one count of possession of a schedule I or II drug with intent to distribute on May 10.
Stephen Michael Whitt, 30, of Fairfield, for one felony count of possession of a schedule I or II drug, one misdemeanor count of reckless driving and one misdemeanor count of obstruction on May 7.
Perrion Deseun Reynolds, 23, of Raphine, for one felony count of breaking and entering, one misdemeanor count of property damage and one misdemeanor count of assault and battery on May 4.
