Two juniors, defender Madeline Swisher and midfielder Lydia Kendall were selected to the all-district second team. The Wildcats bounced back from an 0-4 start to finish with their most wins in six years. RC went 6-6-0 in the Valley District and entered the Region 3C tournament as the eighth seed, concluding its season with a 12-0 road loss to top seed Western Albemarle last Wednesday.

The RC baseball team, which went 5-15 overall and 2-10 in the district under fifth-year head coach Travis Roadcap, had two all-district selections. Senior pitcher Sean Martino and junior shortstop Clay Irvine both made the all-district second team.
