AN APPLICATION BY RANDALL TROUT PROPOSING A PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT (BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT) FOR PARCELS LOCATED AT 438 LIME KILN ROAD (TM # 15-1-17B) & 222 CATALPA PLACE (TM # 15-1-17) IN LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington Planning Commission at a meeting to begin at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, to allow persons to appear and present their views in response to an application by Randall Trout requesting the application of a preliminary subdivision plat (boundary line adjustment) to add a ±0.157 acre portion of TM# 15-1-17 to TM# 15-1-17B.

BUENA VISTA CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING June 20th 2024

Pursuant to Code of Virginia Sections 15.2-2204 and City of Buena Vista Land Development Regulations, notice is given that the City Council of the City of Buena Vista will hold a public hearing to receive comment on the following matters.

Zoning Map Amendment for 962 and 982 Linden Avenue, Tax Map numbers 46-1-1-19-6 and 46-1-119-8, 18,750 square feet at corner of Linden Ave and 10th Street. Proposal to rezone 962 Linden Ave from R3 Residential Limited to MU Mixed Use, and rezone 982 Linden Ave from MB Mixed Business to MU Mixed Use.

The Public Hearing will be held in Council Chambers, City Hall, 2039 Sycamore Ave, Buena Vista VA 24416. The meeting begins at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 20th 2024. ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Notice is hereby given per Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia and Section 808 of the County of Rockbridge Land Development Regulations (the Regulations) that public hearings will be held by the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on Monday, June 22, 2024, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in the County Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450 to consider the following applications: 1) KCREEK LLC, 195 Walker Street Lexington Virginia, 24450 has made an application for a Special Exception Permit to develop a Storage Business. The property (Fairfield Square) is owned by MESENO LLC, 511 E. Nelson Street, Lexington Virginia, 24450. The property is located on the west side of N. Lee Highway (Rt. 11), approximately 0.41 north of the intersection of Sterrett Road (Rt. 710) and is accessed by Soapy Place (private road). The property is further identified as tax map number 39-A-24 (7.05 ac. per tax records). The property is in the General Business (B-1) Zoning District. Per section 605.03-12 of the Regulations, Wholesale business, storage or warehouse are a use by special exception in the B-1 District.

The property is in the South River Magisterial District.

2) County of Rockbridge, Virginia, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450, has made an application for a zoning text amendment (ZTA) to modify Section 302 (Specific Definitions), Section 302.95 (General Store, Country) of the Regulations to modify the definition of General Store, Country to include provisions for a restaurant to be included with the use of a General Store, Country. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at its meeting on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Board Meeting Room on the 1st floor of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, VA, 24450, to consider adoption of the following: ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY CODE, CHAPTER 25 - TAXATION, TO AMEND ARTICLE II – REAL PROPERTY TAX, TO CLARIFY THAT FARM USE MOTOR VEHICLES ARE EXEMPT FROM PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXATION.

All interested citizens are invited to attend the public hearing to express their views on the proposed ordinance. CITY OF LEXINGTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO REVIEW AN APPLICATION FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW 123 W. WASHINGTON STREET TO BE USED AS A DAY CARE CENTER A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington Planning Commission at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, to allow persons to appear and present their views in response to a Conditional Use Permit application submitted by Rhianna Schlief. The application is a request for a Conditional Use Permit that would allow a portion of Grace Episcopal Church located at 123 W. Washington Street (Tax Map # 16-3-C) to be used as a day care center.

A copy of the application, case number CUP 2024-03 is available for public review and examination between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. in the Planning and Development Department located on the second floor of Lexington City Hall, 300 East Washington Street.
