I am happy to report that the little storage building at the Farmers Market is being worked on and should be ready to store the market signs and other items for use at the market in the next week or so.
The Farmers Market has seen some produce on Fridays – tomatoes, corn, squash and strawberries in the past couple of weeks. Once the local gardens begin to produce, we should have plenty available. Be sure to come check out and support the market and its vendors.
There will be a Juneteenth celebration dinner, followed by a movie on June 14 at 6 p.m. at the James Thompson Community Center.
The Thompson Center will host the next Community Meal, from 6 to 7 p.m. today, June 12. The meal is free, and open to the public, but donations will be accepted.
Carolyn and Wes Bradley, and Louise Bradley Mc-Cullough attended the annual Bradley Reunion on June 9. The reunion was held at the Pedlar Volunteer Fire Department in Amherst County.
