Many thanks to Lynn Williams for leading a Morning Prayer service this past Sunday at St. John’s. Thanks, also, to Bert Buford and Josh Gardner for providing music. St. John’s served 30 hikers at the June 10 hiker dinner.
The Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC), in partnership with the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and the Rockbridge Baths Community Organization, will offer medical care on-site at the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Department on June 26, from 1 to 5 p.m.
RAHC’s mobile medical unit offers preventative/wellness health services, screenings, immunizations, chronic disease management, acute/sick care, women’s health care, pediatric services, and substance use disorder treatment.
Appointments for youth immunizations are available, including:
• Required immunizations for rising kindergarten students;
• Tdap, Polio, MMR, Varicella;
• Required immunizations for sixth- and seventh-graders and rising seniors;
• Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis vaccine), HPV, and the first dose of meningococcal vaccines to sixth- and seventhgraders; • Rising seniors second dose of the Meningococcal Conjugate vaccine;
• COVID-19 immunizations for anyone 6 months or older.
