Veterinarian, Author Giving Talk Monday

Glasgow Public Library will host writer and veterinarian Dr. Melinda McCall, on Monday, June 24, at 6 p.m.

McCall will discuss her work and her latest book, “Driving Home Naked and Other Misadventures of a Country Veterinarian.” A book signing will follow.

McCall grew up on a dairy farm in southwest Virginia. She knew at an early age that the life of a veterinarian was her calling and now operates a large animal mobile veterinary service in Louisa.
